All attendees have access to the General Session, Exhibits, pre-meeting Continental Breakfast, Keynote Luncheon and Refreshment Breaks. On-site parking is not included. The Westin Galleria Dallas offers valet parking. Galleria Mall parking garages are available at no charge until full.

Luncheon presentation at TCIV 2010 will be delivered by National Master Entrepreneur Manny Villafaña Manny Villafaña has been designated a Living Legend of Medicine by the International Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons and been named a National Master Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. Villafaña, who became Medtronicís first international sales administrator, is founder of Cardiac Pacemakers, St. Jude Medical, GV Medical, ATS Medical, CABG Medical, and Kips Bay Medical. At TCIV 2010, Mr. Villafaña will talk about the challenges and opportunities involved in bringing new technologies to market, and what it takes to be a serial entrepreneur as he shares his story of Kips Bay Medical and other outstanding achievements. |

Michael J. Mack, MD Dr. Mack serves as the Medical Director of Cardiovascular Surgery for the Baylor Healthcare System. He is Chairman of THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano Research Center (Plano, Texas) and is also Chairman of the Cardiopulmonary Research Science & Technology Institute (CRSTI). Serving as First Vice President of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Dr. Mack is in a position to impact the development of cardiac technologies. He is honored to be recognized as a thought leader in the fields of percutaneous valve therapy and minimally invasive cardiothoracic surgery. |

William E. Cohn, MD As a leading cardiac surgeon, inventor of medical devices and Director of Minimally Invasive Surgical Technology at the Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, Dr. Cohn personifies the intersection of medicine and technology. He has more than 70 United States patents awarded or pending for his medical innovations and has been honored as the Distinguished Inventor of the Year by the Intellectual Property Owners Association. He is a venture partner in Santé Ventures and a founder or co-founder of numerous medical device companies, including TVA Medical, Inc., Sentreheart, Viacor, Houston Medical Robotics and Apaxis. |

David L. Brown, MD As Co-Founder of THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano, Dr. Brown developed, shaped and executed his vision to create a leading international center for cardiac care. He is also Co-Founder and Managing Partner of the Dallas Heart Group. Dr. Brown is the Principal Investigator of the ongoing PARTNER trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of transcatheter aortic valve replacement, highlighting his dedication to the research and sustainability of benchmark medical devices. |
